It can be argued that in the city of Los Angeles, California, one is never short on coffee shops. In fact, you can find a Starbucks or Coffee Bean on every corner. All these coffee shops are quite vital as LA inhabitants are constantly on the go and need either their morning brew so they can actually function as normal human beings. Although so many rely on coffee shops to help get them through their days, there are some people in LA who don’t drink coffee and don’t have a spot in the city to go to after work or on the weekend to hang with friends. Arlene Yuan, founder and owner of a tea shop in North Hollywood, is one of them. Born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Arlene Yuan has been running her own tea shop called TeaPop in North Hollywood, which just recently celebrated its 2nd year anniversary.
